National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is just around the corner! Join me for a roundtable and Q&A to share your projects or get advice!
About this Event
Have you always wanted to write a novel? Do book ideas chase you around each day? If you think you might be ready to put those words to paper (or screen), then get ready to take on the ultimate writing challenge: writing your novel in one month!
I was a NaNoWriMo winner in 2018 (not my first attempt) and completed an upper-middle-grade children's portal fantasy manuscript. This year, I submitted it to the Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD)'s Pitch Perfect event, where it was selected for review by an agent. I'm so grateful for all the feedback I've received from industry professionals over the past couple years and am currently deep in a final rewrite before submitting to publishers and querying agents widely.
While I definitely do not have all the answers, I'm happy to take on any questions I might know, share a few warm-up writing prompts, and open up space for all emerging writers to share their works-in-progress!
