Writing for the New Year: Taking Risks & Taking Care

Writing for the New Year.png

Writing for the New Year is a virtual creative writing and self-reflection workshop open to people of all writing levels.

About this Event

How do you live with intention? What do you hope for the year ahead? January is as good a time as any to pause and consider what you need to recognize and adjust in moving forward. Join me for a creative writing workshop that focuses on two themes to bring us fully into 2021: taking risks and taking care.

Writing can be a powerful tool for reflection and self-awareness, and dedicating time for creativity is central to effective self-care. In this setting, you will have opportunities to explore your writing voice and share your work in a safe, intimate space.

Everyone is welcome, particularly BIPOC and beginner writers! Live captioning will be provided in English. Bring some paper, a pen/pencil, and get ready for a packed two hours of writing!
