Linh S. Nguyễn is a Vietnamese immigrant to Canada who straddles many intersecting worlds. Her stories revolve around home, liminality and living between cultures. She graduated from the University of Toronto as an English major and went on to pursue her master’s in Arts, Creativity and Education and her PhD in Education at the University of Cambridge.

For the first time in her hometown of Hanoi, Linh will share her personal story of immigrating to a new country, which inspired her debut children’s novel, “No Place Like Home”. In conversation with Jennifer Louvet, she will discuss how she redefined home by imagining her younger self’s imaginary adventure through the world of Silva, exploring themes of family, displacement, and the search for belonging within the Vietnamese diaspora.
